Ryan Hornick, the creative mind behind Ryan Knits!, discovered his passion for knitting in 2015 at a fair in Newtown, Connecticut. What began as a moment of curiosity quickly turned into a meaningful craft when Ryan noticed someone knitting at the fair and asked if she would teach him. With weekly lessons, he built his skills over time, transforming a simple interest into a lasting passion.

Inspired by the warmth, comfort, and timeless charm of Mister Rogers—especially his iconic sweaters—Ryan found joy not just in knitting, but in creating pieces that bring comfort and personality to others. That inspiration continues to shape his work today.

At Ryan Knits!, Ryan creates custom handmade pieces, including sweaters, hats, scarves, accessories, and small toys. Each item is thoughtfully crafted with attention to detail, care, and a personal touch that reflects both his journey and his dedication to the craft.
